DEMO CIRCLES
PART TWO

Demo Circles

A celebration of creative expression, guided by the people who created alongside you.

CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
DEMO CIRCLES

No pitch. No polish.

We’re not here to ask if your idea could be a startup or if your code is perfect. We’re here to experience what each other made.

CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
THE QUESTION

What deserves to be experienced by the whole room?

The one question every circle answers together.

CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
HOW TO LISTEN

Three lenses, not a score.

Did it make you feel something?Wonder, joy, curiosity, nostalgia, surprise, laughter. Anything.
Did it express an imagination? An unexpected idea, a free experiment, something uniquely theirs.
Did they bring something to life?Something you could see, hear, play with or understand.
CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
DEMO CIRCLES

How a circle works.

1Find your circleThe portal shows your circle and where to sit.
2Show what you madeEach team gets 4 minutes. The thing itself, even if it’s weird.
3Vote as a teamOne private ballot per team, opened with your keeper’s code.
4Give two SparksFirst Spark is 2 points, second is 1. Not your own project.
5One goes to the stageYour circle’s nominee demos at the showcase.
CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
CIRCLE KEEPERS

Your Circle Keeper hosts. They don’t judge.

They keep time, make sure quieter builders are heard, and only step in to break a final tie.

CONVERGE ✦ OCT 15 · MIAMI✦×✦
TIE-BREAKS

If it’s a tie.

1Most pointsSparks are added up across every team ballot.
2Most first SparksStill tied? The creation picked first more often advances.
3The keeper decidesLast resort, with a short written reason.
